prepared to enlist and possibly die for the cause? How many Iraq war supporters are NOT prepared to enlist and risk their life for the cause? How many Iraq war supporters are willing to allow others to enlist and possibly die, instead, for a cause they support? Where should patriots stand when your President and your military calls them to stand with them?

kylekuypers: so...you are willing to let someone else choose the military career path and risk their life for a cause you think is worth fighting and dying, but you're not?

Why stop at the young

Bush also has an army of "contractors" that doesn't care if you are old, you can go there with them and support this war if you REALLY BELIEVE IT IS IN OUR NATIONAL INTERESTS

I see you have some real winners answering this one huh?

Just because you dont enlist does not make you a bad guy or a good guy.. People who enlist do it because they WANT to and they CAN.

Unlike Iraq, we have that CHOICE. We have many choices they dont. But when we are done there they will have their choices and if they choice the wrong path we can still feel good because we did a country a favor.

Bush as the president has a lot to look at, a lot to analyze and alot riding on his choices. He may not be right all the time but as our leader we should be backing him up always not necessarily agree with him but we should support him.

The government is the real and final answer, Bush just gets things rolling.

There are many Daughters and Sons of Iraqi supporters out there wishing that the war would end so their loved ones can come home but they understand that this is for the future of all Americans and Iraqis and most of all for the FREEDOM that all people deserve.

Those who donot support the war have that choice and there is nothing wrong with that until they do something to interupt what is going on....such as protest and cause confusion.

God Bless America!

The question is do you really believe their is a threat. Which of course any reasonable person would have t say yes to. Prior to 9/11 we had 8 yeears of no response even though U.S. interests were attached 5 different occassions. This no doubt emboldened Muslim terrorists as a do nothing and or cowardly country, this did much to lead to 9/11. During 9/11 we wee NOT in Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Afghanstain etc. So the attack was completely unprovoked. I doubt the terrorists counted on this much of a response by Bush! It's clear that if we did nothing and left it to the "Judiciary" as Clinton would have done, we would have been attacked agian. The facts sare, the Iranian president who enslaves his people has called for the destruction of the US and Isreal. Saddam was in fact seeking nuclear weapons initially to protect himself from Iran, and who knows later. Saddam did try to assisinate GW Bush Sr. after Desert Storm. You may point that Saddam did not play an direct role in 9/11,but every intelligence in the world stated he did have WMD. The goal is to take out your enemy before a 9/11 happens again. Any one who believes these threats are no real, just need to examine statements made by jBin Laden and company, they can't be any clearer.

not only do most iraq war supporters NOT want to fight in the war, they don't want to PAY for it either and support the idea that we pass this debt along as the bush legacy...

Some choose career paths in the military, and some do not. This is a free country. Be it there is a draft I would be happy to fight for my country, unlike many liberals who would take the next available bus to Canada.

They are just like their hero, Dubya, all gung ho for war as long as they dont have to go!

No great loss if somebody else's loved ones die.

It aint too hard to get along with somebody else's troubles.
