Ok I am 34 weeks and 2 days and the baby has dropped already. I mean you can tell that she is lower. Also I have been feeling pressure in my pelvic area. What are your opinions? Could labor be close? I go to the doctor tomorrow.

I don't think you should worry too much, you should be alert, that the baby will be there soon, but she's not ready yet. She's getting there but she's just turning and getting ready.

It's going to be alittle more unconfortable, walking aound usually helps.

Congrads!

It sounds like you are right on schedule! The pressure in the pelvic area is very normal when the baby drops. Don't be to anxious though, rest in knowing that the longer you little girl is in the womb and the closer to your due date you get the healthier and less chance of problems she will have.
Yes labor is only a few weeks away, but these signs don't indicate that you are going into labor.
Good luck and congratulations.

I woudl say no laobor is not close, at least let me define my opinion of close, its not iminent within the next week or two. I would be you will go to your due date or if you do go early maybe a week. I have been waiting the same thing out. I am now 39 weeks starting at 36 i dropped like you are describing. had also had the pressure and menustral like cramps. Since I have also been miserable :) I have had my membranes striped and lost my mucus plug and here I am still pregnant lol. It didnt do a bit of good for me. So I think you have a while to wait yet. good luck and congrats you dont have too much longer to go!

If this is your first pregnancy it is normal for the baby to drop around 34-35 weeks and cause increased pressure. Unfortunately this doesn't signal labor is close, most first time mother's go over their due date even when their baby drops around 35 weeks.

When the baby drops it means you are getting closer to giving birth. Usually at least a couple weeks away.
I hope so for your sake being that you are only 34 weeks, baby might have some problems if born that early.

It is coming though. GOOD LUCK.

Only God knows if labor is close. But here is the good news - every minute it IS getting closer. Sometimes the baby can hang around really low for the longest time. Sorry that this is not what you maybe wanted to hear. But trust me, you want the baby to come, when he's ready......

not necessarily, but definately a possibility. Usually its just the case of the baby getting ready for labor, so she is positioning herself in the pelvis in the proper position. Only your doctor can be the true judge of this, so you should definately ask him/her tomorrow.

GOOD LUCK! CONGRATS!~

Probably still a few weeks away. My daughter dropped early, but by 38 weeks she was up in my ribs again. When I had her (at 38 weeks) she was high and breech. Two weeks previous she had dropped and was head down.

I misplaced my mucous plug approximately per week earlier than I went into hard work. But then the morning I went into hard work, I used to be having like gasoline cramps in my belly & used the restroom & while I wiped I noticed pinkish stuff on the bathroom paper & just a little blood. I went correct to the sanatorium & used to be three-four cm dilated & had my daughter that night time. So it would imply quickly! Good success. :)

well if this is your first baby.. Not quite yet. Most first babies are late. and Babies come when they are ready. She could be just getting into position.. Your doctor can tell you more.. Good luck
