Ive been trying to quit smoking but ive noticed that i get a bit down if i have a cigarette. Does anybody know about the effects the chemicals in cigarettes have on your mood? Thanks

i smoked heavily from 18-23. cigarettes are horrible for you and im not comparing it to anything else thats just how they are. Trying to quit if your hooked is like trying to pull your teeth out. I know what you mean it's the chemicals that mess with your heart and brain to an extent. The mood thing passes after about 3-4 days of quitting and you lose physical dependance on it. After that its a mental thing to quit.
