No, never. Although the apology might not mean anything to the person you're apologizing to, sometimes it needs to be done to clear your own concience.

It's never too late. Even if the person is dead you can still apologize. If it is a love matter maybe 'Love means never having to say you're sorry.'

I guess it would depend on the person you were apologizing to and whether they were still interested in apologizing after a period of time has passed. Sometime you have to make peace with yourself and move on even if the other person doesn't want to accept your apology.

No, I do not. An apology form me means that I do not want to lose you as a friend over some thoughtless word or action on my part which you might find offense.

It is never too late for the person saying I am sorry....they have to consider however that the offended party may not care.

Better late than never is the one I grew up with. Sometimes its a gut wrenching thing but when it has to be done it must be done and no two ifs about it. Go and apologise and make yourself feel better.
