I had my mirena iud removed 2 weeks ago and had sex that day and everyday as much as possible since then..(hubby and I are trying to conceive)....I am possibly 2 weeks pregnant...Has anyone taken a home pregnancy test and gotten a faint line ? Should I take that as a positive test or should I disregard it? Did your test have a faint line and you were pregnant? I have taken 4 test, 3 different kinds and 3 of them had a faint line and 1 of them had nothing at all. Give me your results and how far along you were when you took the test

I had a faint line and I was pregnant. I was about 3 weeks along. Try the one that says the words "pregnant" or "not pregnant" ... that what was finally made me believe it!

That faint line deffinately means you're pregnant, congrats!! I had the same question when i took my pregnancy test it was a very faint line but as the days went by and i took more tests, the lines got darker. But if you still have any doubts, you can get a blood test done and those results will be accurate.

Wait for another two weeks. It might be that you are taking the test to soon. You know if you go to the Doctor he would be able to give you the results right away. I took the test E.P.T. The first one came out positive but at the time I was in denial. The second one I was crying like a baby. I went to the Doctor to confirm. It's great and scary at the same time...

instead of going through all those tests, you should just go to the doctor and get a blood test where it is a plain yes or no. Sperm can take several days to fertilize your egg, so you could have sex on friday but not get pregnant until monday etc. It also matters if you were ovulating during that time too. If I were you, I'd either go to the doctor, or wait until I'm supposed to have my period and see if it shows up. Less stressful.

Yep, I'd agree, you are likely pregnant, but should confirm at a doctor's office. The preg test measures the HCG hormone in your urine, and very early in pregnancy that hormone level is very low, which leads to a lighter line. Congratulations!

I had the same experience and it turned out I was pregnant. Get a blood test at your doctor's office. It's the only way to know for sure.

Don't take the test so soon. Continue trying and take test again in three weeks.

when i got pregnant for my daughter, i took two tests because mine were faint also, i ended up being a month along when i actually found out. so...yeah i think you are hun, CONGRATS!!
