How Come Subway puts paper thin meat on their subs?

Its all corporate. If Subways were to put a lot of meat on your sandwich without you paying for the extra, the place could get shut down. Subway is so strict when it comes to corporate policies, its crazy. I know, I work there. And some people don't like a lot of meat. So we try to find a happy medium.

I would guess because they are known for helping people loose weight, and if they put big, fat pieces of meat on their subs like everybody wants they could be called lairs. Or maybe they just have to make room for all the rest of the stuff they put on the sub.

Because some of their customers simply like it that way. Some prefer the taste/texture of thinly sliced meat while others have problems with their teeth and would struggle to eat salami as thick as a porterhouse.

I like the way meat tastes when it's sliced thin (I believe it's called deli style). It's not like they only give you one piece of meat.

it's all about eliminating the costs, the thinner the better for them and still charging the higher rates for meat....it's all psychological
