I'm starting theatre class and am hoping for a feauture in acting can you give me any tips on how to get better in acting please anything will be really appreciated thanks!!!

Read a lot. Get some of the books written by Uta Hagen. Read your scripts a lot. Start deconstructing characters...figure out what makes them tick and why they act the way they do. Start watching people. The way they move different walks etc. Start listening to how people talk.
"Acting is Reacting" Make sure that you listen to the lines that are being said to you and then react as your character would.

It's very nice to see an intelligent question from a good kid. What theaterdoc said. If you love acting you will act. You'll keep getting better and better. If you work hard enough and have some talent eventually you will be good enough to do it professionally. At first it can be frustrating but stick with it. I'd bet you do fine.

The way to get better in acting is to do alot of acting. You do not learn to act by reading or from a class. You learn to act by acting. so be in all the school plays and church plays and community plays. read a lot of plays and books on acting so you will be knowledgable about it, eventually take a professional acting class, but always keep on acting in as many plays as you can.

*Never get nervous.
*Whatever charactor you play, feel it and you think yourself as it.
*Your expressions plays a good role.
*Then your pronounciation and language skills.
*Don't mug-up (memorise) the dialogue manully, feel it, understand it and you think yourself in the postion of the charactor and read the dialogues.
*Do not over act.

make sure you have good volume and pronunciate really welll so ur audience can hear you!!!
