Well, this is quite simple.
You must first connect or insert the device in the computer. If you are usuing a floppy disk, find a slot in your computer that is about the length of your index finger (or a little longer that 31/2 inches). Now on your floppy disk, there will be a piece of it that slides back and forth. Traditionally it is metal, but in some of the more modern versions it is sometimes plastic. The side that this sliding cover is on is the side that gets inserted first into the slot that you just found. Push the disk in until there is a click, and the button beneath the slot sticks out. Now on your computer, if you are using windows, open up "My Computer" and then double click the icon that says "3 1/2 Floppy" near it. It probably has a picture of a floppy disc as an icon, and it also probably says "A:" somewhere as this is the letter that refers to the disk. (The drive). Now whatever data you wish to insert onto it just needs to be saved to or dragged and dropped onto this window and the data is saved onto the disk. If you are using a Mac, the icon for the floppy disk is probably going to be on the main screen. Just double click it and then save or drag and drop data onto it just as you would with windows.
As for a "pendrive" you'll need to find a small slot on your computer that is only about 1 cm long and 1/2 a cm tall. It may have a small icon by it that looks sort of like a cactus if you have a wild imagination like mine, and may say "USB" by the slot. If you have found the right slot, then you should be able to insert the metal part of the pendrive into this slot, if it doesn't go in but looks like it should, just turn the pendrive upside down. Now, just as you would with the floppy disk, open up my computer or find the icon on the desktop and then double click the icon that says "USB mass storage device". This is only necesary if it does not pop up with an "auto run" feature where it automatically asks what you'd like to do with it.
I hope this helps, now I have some homework to do on my off hour that I have to get to. hahaha.
