Random Question: What if a murderer broke into your house in the middle of the night? What would you do?

but what if they had a gun

Deal with them - and then tell the police "I used the minimum force necessary to counter the threat posed against me"

And that phrase is all I would keep repeating, and the police can't do anything about it.

If they change it to "how much force was used", you answer "minimum".

If they ask why you used the force you did you say "to counter the thread posed against me"

I would run and lock myself in a room. If he didn't know I was there, I would try to sneak out the window and then run to a neighbor's house where I could call the police.

Either that or we would engage in an epic battle that ended on top of the Hoover Dam or Eiffel Tower.

I wouldn't know it's a murderer - I would know it's someone who broke into my home with unknown intentions.

He'd get a .38 slug right where it hurts the most and would probably die (though I'd rather he survived). The law in the state of Texas allows me to use lethal force in the situation so the grand jury would no-bill me.

well i have 2 different ideas.... i would either, pour my bottle of ketchup all over myself and fake death [i got a bottle of ketchup for my bday from my lovely friends] hoping the murderer is stupid and would be like, oh yeah, i already killed her. OR i would climb out my window and "surprise attack" the murderer and shoot him or stab him in the back by throwing a knife at a safe distance. but i personally prefer the first idea

i would go jakie chan on his a** LOL j/k i would probably try to save my sis who is 2 months old and tell my mommy try to hide run down stairs if he wasnt looking hide in a rroom down stairs and in the bathrroom and out the window with my cell call 911 and go into a neighbors house

There's a nice double barrel shot gun just waiting for him beside my bed post within arms reach. I wouldn't hesitate to shoot. My motto: Shoot first, If he lives ask questions later:)

First of all, how would I know he's a "murderer"?
Will he be wearing a name-badge that says:
"Hi, I'm a murderer and I'm here to kill you too."?

Secondly, if he lives up to the title, "murderer" then, I'm already dead, and there's nothing else I'll be able to do.

Throw multiple shoes at him/her but if that doesn't work I'd beat the living crap outta him/her with all the old newspapers my family has XD
