it is a relatively easy job, as long as you have the right tools and reasonable mechanical knowledge. if not leave it to your garage,it should only cost you an hours labour + the part.

It's a very straight forward simple job. You must be prepared with the proper tools which you can borrow from Auto Zone.
A. A pitman arm puller to pop the lower ball joint loose fron the lower control arm.
B. A large metric 1/2 drive socket to remove the nut on the inner attaching bolt that goes through the frame and lower control arm. A heavy hammer to drive the lower control arm bolt out and a long heavy drift to continue driving the bolt through the control armbushing and out the cars sub-frame. You'd be smart if you had a 16" 1/2 drive ratchet or a 16" 1/2 in breaker bar or a 16' braker bar to remove the special pinch nut at the end of the bolt that goes through the frame and A - frame.

Probably not a DIY job because the bolt on the ball joint is normally stubborn and is a Torx T55, then you need a big bar to prise the ball joint out of the hub. Back bush is sometimes hard to get the bolt back through, you have to line it up with a screwdriver then its on the wonk for the bolt to pass through the other side. I think if you try on the floor instead on a ramp you'll struggle. Especially with no experience of the job.

I think its a garage job and i think its quite dear too!!
I had a P Reg fiesta and the wishbone was nearly away. I sold the car so somebody else can pay for it!!

its not a big job and can be done in less than an hour so do you really want to risk doing it you self and possibly having problems (sized ball joint pinch bolt ) when it wont cost much to let the professionals sort it out.

Go to the shop--there are other things that need to be repaired.. I don't think they bend or break for no reason...
