When a conservative is found to be a hypocrite, deviant and criminal, other conservatives decry them as such.

When a lib is snared in a similar manner, other libs stand up and celebrate the behavior.

Barny Frank?

Cheered by his fellow dems.

No one is clapping for Craig.

People should be free to have relations with whomever they like, provided it's within the bounds of the law. I don't have animosity towards gays--they don't bother me and I don't label their behavior as immoral. It's not my place.
BUT, Frank's 'partner' was caught running tricks out of their shared townhouse and his fellow Dems stood and applauded him for it.
This is my point.
Craig is a hypocrite and far as I know, no conservatives are defending him.

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT A LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Alberto Gonzales, Scooter Libby, Mark Foley, Richard Nixon... do I really have to go on?

You guys spend your entire day cheerleading these hypocrites and alleged criminals.

And last night, yes, people WERE defending Craig. "He only pled guilty to prevent a big long investigation."

And you guys do everything you can to prevent investigations any time it looks like someone on your side of the aisle might have done something wrong. Impeding an investigation doesn't make someone innocent; in fact, it makes them appear to be guilty.

This question... my God, are you BLIND???

First off the House of Ethics Committee found no evidence that Frank had known of or had been involved in the alleged escort service scandal. Second, thanks for stereotyping. Some of you cons are great at that. And last, here is a quote from Frank you need to read and think about. "The fact is, yes, the republicans do think [Homosexuality] should be a crime. And I think there's a right to privacy. But the right to privacy should not be a right to hypocrisy...people who want to demonize other people shouldn't then be able to go home and close the door, and do it themselves".

Both sides are capable of being hypocritical. Conservatives are worse though, in the fact that they pretend they are always innocent, and never take responsibility for their own hypocrisies.

There is a big difference, Frank has always been openly gay, Craig is married and championed the Gay Marriage ammendment and family values.

Barney Frank is openly gay...

As far as i know, he hasn't spoken out against gay rights, etc., only to sneak around pursuing his "hobbies"..

Personally, I could care less about Craig and his life, but the lies and deceit are deplorable, considering he has taken a highly visible stance against gay rights...

Careful. You're getting mighty close to equating 'conservatives' with 'Republicans' and of late that hasn't often been the case.
