USC is in the worst Ghetto of Los Angeles Right down the street from the Coleseum no one wants to use

UC Berkeley is a stone's throw from Oakland which once had the highest murder rate in America.

All the UC Bekerely off campus students shared old houses and lock their possessions in closes wtih two dead bolts to keep the heroine users out.

In the Hills of Berkeley the average house is 1 million dollars.

Berkeley is a strange community of quaint shops, side walk cafes, wheat bread pizza and old, old houses shared by students that get broken into by druggies who are chased by long haired policemen.

It still is the Greatful Dead community

UCLA is in the middle of the highest rent district in Los Angeles, generally very safe, apartments can cost up to $1,500 a month for a single with NO PARKING (that's $150 extra a month, on a waiting list). It is generally safe to walk the streets in the nearby area (up to half a mile) any time.

Very upscale.

San Diego has been going down hill for the last 20 years and is very much like overall Los Angeles now.

Sonoma is wine capital of the US, home to ultra rich. Beautiful, lush green with 2 million dollar houses.

My Dentist can't afford to stay in a bed and breakfast wtih his wife for more than 3 days in a row in Sonoma county.

Santa Barbara is pretty, quiet, nice and somewhat expensive, but not outgragious.

Davis is also a nice area.

All of the UC schools are highly ranked and selective. None of the CSU schools are ranked and none are selective.

I'd rank these schools as follows:

1. UC-Berkeley
2. UCLA
3. USC
4. UC-Davis
5. UCSB
6. CSU-Sonoma (SOnoma State)
7. CSU-SD (San Diego State)

There is a small gap in quality between USC and UCD. There is a big gap in quality between UCSB abd the CSU schools.

US News ranks colleges. You can find the link below.

Of those schools, I think UC Berkeley has the best reputation.

that's amalgamated from countless different leeds institutions, a number of which did not have the suitable acceptance - yet Leeds city college itself is doing nicely. And as somebody else suggested, Leeds is a brilliant city.
