Here is the situation - I calculated that I'd ovulate between the 29th & the 2nd of September. BUT on Monday I was "wet" with cervical mucus, and I am today. Did I ovulate early ?? I have normal cycles every 28 days, I ovulate every 14 days. I have been tracking my periods now for almost a year, just to be prepared for "conception." We are going to try for our first month, this week. I'm so excited. I had my period on August 18th, So I should be calculating this right ... I'll ovulate anywhere between the Aug 29th, & Sept 2nd ... Is this correct ?? I didn't miss ovulation this month did I ??

Ok, if you started your period on Aug 18, with 28 day cycles, your next period would be due Sept 15. Ovulation happens sometime between 10-16 days before your next period, so Aug. 30-Sept 5 with about Sept 1 being most likely date of ovulation.
Since you were wet on Monday, it is possible you O'd early, but also very possible you were wet for another reason--intercourse the previous night causing semen or lubrication to be present, or you are drinking more water than usual, drinking green tea, or something else that might cause your CM to be thinner. Wait and see if the thin mucus returns.

I did a calculation for your information as well, and got the same answer as you just from the 29th to the 3rd. I'm kinda like you with the super regular schedual. But, When I found out I was pregnant with my first, I was told I Ovulated early.....but I didnt' see how I could have. We started trying 2 days after my period was over and about every other day to every 3rd day, My palm pilot that had a period tracking program on it was stolen, and I had been keeping track since my Senior year of High School!! So I was just guessing at my ovulation times....Try the link below for more help. But I suggest trying ASAP just incase you did Ovulate early!

You can get pregnant anywhere from 5 days before and after your ovulation date. The best way to decide is to buy a kit from the store and detect ovulation that way. Just use the kit and have sex on the days it says you are ovulating. Also, I think you should have sex today. If you are discharging cervical mucus then you are probably ovulating. Go ahead and give it a try today and then wait and have sex again on one of your ovulation days. Best Wishes :)
