I was 4 days late for my period and finally started, but I only bled for 2 days light when I usually bleed for 7 to 8 days very heavy. Could I possibly be pregnant? I have been trying to get pregnant for 4 yrs. I've never used any type of birth control or protection. I did experience nausea and fatigue before I started. Although I took a pregancy test and it came back negative. This is driving me crazy. I've had 2 kids before and never had this happen.

If I were in your position I would get another home pregnancy test--a sensitive one--and test again using first morning urine. If the test is still negative then just assume you had an off cycle and see if things get back on track next cycle.

Okay. First, congrats on preventing an unwanted pregnancy. Do you drink a lot of caffeine? It's proven, that caffeine and stress can make you bleed irregularly. I was extremely stressed out, and on the shot(which is suppose to take away your periods) and I bleed somewhat similar to you. I went to the doctor, and they told me it was stress. People say that "the blood has to come out sometime..." Which, in my opinion, is complete crap. You are just bleeding irregularly. We women, as so complicated. There is stuff I am still learning about, about my body, believe it or not, and I'm 25!

If the test said negative, you're probably negative. But if you've been trying to conceive for 4 years, you need to see a fertility specialist who can help you figure out what the problem is. I bet it's driving you crazy. Sit back, take it easy, and find a good dr.

It could be that you are pregnant.
It could also be that you are really stressed now? That tends to have an affect on the monthly cycle. Also you could wish to be pregnant so badly that youre body is manifesting the signs that you're brain is looking for. You can find that in any psychology journal. The DSM has it. If you a re worried or it happens again, you should see your doctor to make sure.

you need to have yourself checked for fibroid tummors
the same happened to me and i found out thats what it was. most periods should be 2-3 days with the fibroids they make you bleed heavy for a while or light for a little bit and you are not one or the other you can bleed both ways when i went to the hospital for bleeding so much they found out i dont know what test they done but i had a urine test, blood work, and a ultra sound and they found it

Take home pregnancy tests are not always accurate. You should go to the Gyno and tell them what happened. They can do a blood test to see if your are pregnant or other tests to see if something else is wrong.

I would go and get another test and also make an appointment with your doctor.
It might be pregnancy or it could just be something else?

it could have been implantation but i just spotted and i thought i was going to get my period but it stopped later that night and now i have found out that im pregnant good luck to you

you need to tell someody because there could be an infection or if you dont want to tell ya mother or whoever deen get somebody you trust and thats 18 or older and tell them that you need to go to the clinic!
