My guess the bills are that big is because the people who wasted their money on it probably bought the regular phone plan instead of the more expensive iPhone plan that included unlimited data (think its included).
It's the same thing when someone buys a brand new SUV that guzzles gas at 12mpg yet they complain about the price of gasoline.
My opinion: If you aren't willing to pay the price, don't play the game. If you play the game, don't complain about the consequences.

The correct answer is that Iphones come with unlimited texting. Unfortunately, the phone bills for Iphones list every single transaction......For those people that just can't live without texting everyone and their brother, they get these huge phone bills.

It's not the price tag that they're complaining about, it's the actual size of the bill....for instance, one woman had to have her bill delivered in a box.

Because they're new and everything new comes with bigger prices tags and with the capabilities that you have on the iPhones you're using components that you normally would not use all the time, like texting unless you have an unlimited plan and the web and if you're using them all the time your company is going Cha Ching, Cha ching, Cha Ching!!

Because they are using them like a laptop BUT
They are phones with Phone rates ,
Not Internet rates .

Children are too "green" I guess to look at charges and fees before they purchase .
They are NOT $$$$$ educated , just gadget oriented.
