Which team has done the most for baseball such as most notable announcers, best fan base, quality players, political/racial issues. Im looking for a good answer to prove that the St Louis Cardinals are NOT the best franchise in baseball

When you talk about baseball outside of the United States, the one team everyone knows is the Yankees. They've won the most World Series Championships, they've consistently had some of the most high-profile players, and they are the second most valuable team franchise in the world (second to the Manchester United soccer team).

Ash much as i hate them its by FAR the Yankees. 26 championships speaks for its self. There is nobody even close. The Yankees are almost always right there competing for the title and the slew of hall of famers who are former Yankees tops any other team.
