So aren't we....I say it could take more time to make Ramen Noodles than we take to eat it...Minute Rice,,,we'd eat it faster!! Sad sometimes,,,especially when I make a really nice dinner...takes hours and gone in seconds..

It depends on what I'm eating, usually it's a combination of both savoring and inhaling at the same time...

I Savor my coffee in the morning but usually inhale everything else.

I am a 'very slow eater' ... probably because I had four kids (and fourteen of their best friends came to dinner most nights) and was too busy 'serving' to be able to relax and eat. My husband is an 'inhaler' ... he eats 2-3 times more food than I do, but it's 'gone' before I've eaten a quarter of my meal. It 'bothers me' that he doesn't 'taste' the food (he's a chef, he cooks, and he makes REALLY GOOD FOOD) but it's the way he eats, and I love him and just 'let him gobble' while I eat slowly.

Glad to see a fellow inhaler. Can't stand girls that pick at their food! Of course inhaling might be attributed to that fact that we're both high and have crazy munchies!

depends - try and savor but somtimes when im starving - inhale then i end up stuffed
