Agree with Runglee!
Federer's victory is like an art. You admire it. His victory is just like the end product of his artistic talent. Seeing Nadal win gives you another feeling. You appreciate the amount of effort and determination he puts in. His victory seems sweeter and more precious.
It depends whether people prefer to see a champion win with style and almost effortlessly or seeing them huff and puff their way to victory.

Federer plays with such effortless style that it seems that he is simply breezing through the game, sweating much lesser than his spanish counterpart Nadal, who looks like he needs to be at his very best [the way he charges around the court] in order to grind out a victory.

Of course, Federer maybe be trying as hard as Nadal does, but he is definitely using much less energy than Nadal, which may mean he may actually be around for as long as Nadal is, despite being 5-6 years older. Although Nadal has an incredible stamina, his aggresive play may play a part in latter stages of his career and start to wear him out bit by bit.
This might mean that Nadal might never have the chance to wait for Federer's retirement and hence decreases his chance of ever getting to the number 1 spot in his entire career.

nadal is all about force and a lot less thinking then federer. the problem is what nadal doesnt think is that, if he wins he would have to play another big match, and he needs to be fully fit for that one too, if you waste all your energy on the first round or first set of the match, how you gonna play the rest?

on the other hand federer, he plays the important points with everything he has got and other ones, he keeps it simple. he makes his opponent tired or stressed on the first couple of sets and wins easy at the end, and he also saves energy for the next match. thats why roger hasnt been injured so far for three years he has been top.

it is much better to play like fed, with mind and body. not just all the body like nadal and no mind!!!

I would say both as each player have their own way of winning. Federer is more finesse in his game and is a
complete player that can challenge anyone. Where as Nadal
is aggressive and more athletic and has the stamina. When
you put these 2, the outcome is going to be something what
we saw at Wimbledon 2007.

The beauty of this game is it allows, all sorts of players to play
their game. But to spoil these 2 players(Federer and Nadal)
we have another in the list, who is Djokovic. If he is on a roll
he is a devastating player and like to see him play like he did
in Montreal, where in he beat top 3 seeds #3, #2, and #1 to
win the tournament.

Good question!!!I would say both , because both represent what sports are all about - Federer's play represents the beautiful and the elegant , while Nadal's bullish conquests represent the gritty spirit of players , and that thing of "Do or Die" .Federer usually wins without breaking too much of sweat(USUALLY) and Nadal charges through with power .....so I would say Federer's victories are more beautiful , but Rafa's victories are more satisfying!!!

Federer on a good day( which is most of them) has such a beautiful game to behold. I have to , obviously, go with Fed-man. I hate everything about Nadal's game. I know he is nice kid, so it is not personal. He does give you some excellent , out of this world, shot-making , at clutch moments it seems. I have never liked the "grinders" of the game. Federer to me and to some level Djokovic, play tennis as an art. I am proud to call myself a fan.

To win like Federer is beautiful because he plays it with technique and he proceeds with his game smoothly. To win like Nadal is satisfying because with all the power he musters, it really is satisfying that in the end he wins, that all the strength and effort he put in wasn't in vain.

Which is to say, my answer is both. :)

wheew..tough one..
Whenever FedEx is playing, u kinda expect him to win the match. Usually...he does. It seems he won them effortlessly, almost no sweat..and, he does that most of the time..but then again, u get kinda bored watching the Mr. Perfect..coz of his flawlessness, it's hard to expect something more (coz it's already perfect!!) from him.
But u won't get bored watching Nadal..he's a bull, a fighter..he's no senor perfecto..but there's this X factor about him that makes u want to spend ur time n money to watch the guy playing..and it's as if every point is like a sudden death for him..AND u kinda expect something more outta him..coz he's still evolving, plus he's still got a long way to go (21 years ol')..
So I think, watching Rafa has more fun and excitement in it, coz of his 'explosive' personality..
