Yes I once made enquiries into use of their email options and got a reply only an hour after I had written in. The reply came from another country than the one I am in but I got a reply and that was sufficient for me at the time.

i had a reply 2 a violation once. & also once 4 a suggestion i placed in the wrong section.

In general, no. But I had the email addys of a couple mods at one time..the response from them was always siiding with whatever decision "Yahoo" made.

I have read where people have made such a claim as a real employee answering their email. I put it down as being an urban legend.

Yeah. When my first profile got deleted I kept emailing and emailing them, until finally, someone named Karen wrote me and told me that they're not obligated to explain why they deleted me.
