Yes if your underage and not living your baby's father. If you are under I believe 17, your parents can ask the courts for child support for your baby as they will probably be paying for most things your baby needs.

How old are you? How old is he? Do you live at home, or with your BF?
That baby is yours, and you have every right to sue for child support if the father of your child is not interacting as he should. Your father can sue him or his family for your condition, but not for child support. And in most cases that lawsuit would be dropped by the DA, or settled out of court. it would have to be an issue of known rape for him to be able to take your bf to court, and even then it wouldnt be for child support.

Your father can't - but you can and should. Well, I guess if you're underage and live with your father, he could have a case. If you're not married, you should draw up a support agreement. You don't have to go to the courts, just come to an arrangement between the 2 of you and document it and sign it. That way, things are in place should anything go awry.

yes, he may do so... after all he is the grandpa of your child, and the father of the baby should support the child financialy, emotionally and spiritually. You too can do so... you should talk to the baby's fatherf maturedly and heartily...and if not, consult a best lawyer on child support.

My buddy's girlfriend is pregnant and he was automatically going to have to start paying child support, but they filled out the form saying they will be living together so he didn't have to pay. So if you are not married and say No, I think he will automatically have to. Thats in WI.

If you are together then no. If he's supporting your child. Unless your underage then your father has no say in anything.

If you were to live together, then you can't. If he was to leave, then you can make him pay child support.
