Movie technology has gotten to or nearly gotten to the point to where completely life-like computer generated actors can star in the film. This has already been done in some commecials using John Wayne. Anyway, would you like to see films created starring computer generated stars of the past and perhaps even combine them with stars of the present? For example a crime drama staring Humphry Bogart and Robert Deniro, or perhaps a comedy Marilyn Monroe and Will Ferrell. Cary Grant and Julia Roberts? The possibilities seem endless. What is your opinion and who would you like to see together?

...a most appalling idea, with respects to the computer generation of classic/deceased movie stars, in the production of motion pictures; in a nostalgic way, I've been able to accept this innovation in commercials, and I've been able to barely turn an askew eye upon this being used in T.V. show production...

...however, in the production of motion pictures, the one irrevocable reason against this concept is crystal clear...

...with the utmost respect for the excellent work produced by actors, both present and dearly departed...IT WOULD NOT BE PART OF THAT PERSON'S TRUE BODY OF WORK!!!
It's not just a matter of whether the technical computer geniuses can actually assimilate the quirks, personality, emotion and attitude of the dearly departed actors of the past; it just would not be a genuine and honest piece of work by that artist....

Now, in saying that, I must admit that the technology DOES have it's advantageous use; for instance, I wouldn't be adverse to the ideas of fine-tuning the technical faults of certain motion pictures, with respects to the actors. For instance, to coin a specific suggestion, let's take the late, great actor and world-wide martial arts personality, Bruce Lee, and his last released film, the 1974 film, "Game of Death"; as a result of the untimely death of Bruce, the filmmakers, who definitely wanted to release the film, scoured for a look-alike double, to play in certain scenes. They also used a person, in certain action fight shots, wearing a motorcycle helmet in his head during the fight, to hide the fact that Bruce obviously wasn't available for that sequence; and let's not forget one of the first scenes in the film, where Bruce's character was being interviewed/interrogated at his dressing table, and since the fimmakers didn't have the double they wanted for the scene, they filmed a mirrored reflection of an actor, sitting down in front of the dressing table...and they superimposed an actual picture of Bruce Lee onto the mirror, to cover the face of the actor, sitting in front of the table, who obviously didn't look like Bruce...

Now, why not used this creative, resourceful and innovative technology to correct things like this, and to make the films look more like what the filmmakers, writers, actors, et.al., had originally intended; THIS is the direction, by which this technology should be applied...not to create something that perhaps the dearly departed, be it actors, writers or filmmakers, probably might not have agree with, in the first place...

Neo and Aki Ross. Like you said, the possibilities are endless...however, at this point in time, such special effects are still very costly. But in due time, things would get a little interesting
