Totally! My daughter waitressed for a few years. Very fast paced, and the people you have to deal with, it's not always very pretty.
I tried it a few years back, OMG! There was about 6 people at this table, they wanted tea refills, I gathered up their glasses, took them in the kitchen and filled them up. I totally didn't know who's glass was who's. So I just set them down one after the other, and pretended I knew what the heck I was doing. The job lasted one day!

YES, I cant imagine being a waitress and having to deal with all those snobby people leaving you hardly any tips. I am always so nice to any waitress that I have because it has to be so hard dealing with people not liking what they ordered and stuff like that. They also don't make very much money.

I loved waitressing...I did it for about 6 years
I think it's hard if you can't multi-task or if you don't have a great memory. Otherwise, the only other obstacle is putting up with difficult customers. Well, and if you have to wear an ugly uniform...lol

I did waitressing while attending college. I know it's hard! Many customers are cheap and don't tip, and others are total @ssholes.

Yes and NO.
I've waitressed for many years, and i could do it with my eyes closed.
The holidays and late nights are what made it a little hard.
AND putting up with those occasional @S$holes!

very hard and it does not help when people are working so hard and wait on jerks who tip like total garbage especially when the server is trying hard

any job is a hard job when you have to listen to people and give them what they want. you can never please everyone, especially when you're dealing with the public on a daily basis.

Yes without a doubt... i did it for many years and the crap you have to put up with is ridiculous...all i can say is YES!!!

definitely. people can be so rude and demanding. thats why you should always be polite and tip good.
