I am not sure, I do think there is a word for it but my brain just can't seem to locate it. There is a term that would be relevant to this though and that is 'intertextuality' - where, say for example, an advertising company send out promotional leaflets which take the form of a letter rather than a blatant ad.

If you ask "do you want to go to Joe's for pizza?" And I answer "what's the point, we always get bad service there?" My answer is a rhetorical question....

i think it's a return answer.

as in:

1: what's your name?
2: my name is two, what's yours?
