Fast? The only things around my house that move that fast are wolf spider and they can get quite big. I have a couple of brown recluses in the garage and they don't move fast at all, look kinda small, more like dime size and their front pair of legs are longer than the other two.
Hope that helps.

Two days ago? By now it is probably either gone or dead. But it still could be in the couch, or living somewhere else in your home. If you are worried about it being poisonous then you should probably fumigate the house. It only takes a few hours and will make you feel better. Or, at least spray the area around the couch with bug spray. I would recommend fumigating, though. The spider could have laid eggs, and the chemicals would kill them. Good luck!

Unless the spider is poisnous which most likely it isnt, it is not going that your turtle died from the spider. Still, even supposing the spider used to be toxic, it could be very complicated to inject any poison right into a turtle as its tough shell covers its frame. Also, in case your turtle noticed it as a risk, then it could conceal in its shell.. i wouldnt fear approximately it. Sorry on your turtle regardless that.

Probably a colony of them. Spiders have life spans of up to a year and can go a month without eating (if it is full). Look up brown recluse, that is what it sounds like.

beats me; It would help to know where you are geographically, and maybe a bit more about the spider (like size, general shape, anything else you can think of - also a photo would be useful; doesn't have to be really good as long as the spider is relatively in focus).

if you didn't kill it,it probably is not dead.Spiders are the only bug I don't mind seeing because I heard they eat all other bugs.I wouldn't want to get bitten by one or anything but I don't think humans are their first choices for a meal!

A brown recluse has what looks like a violin on its back. If it doesn't have a violin, it's not one.
