I was pissed off from not being able to poop for 5 months straight, so I sat on the toilet and pushed until I thought I'd poop my intestine.

I had had some contractions right before then, and stood up off the toilet, walk into the kitchen and BOOSH, my panties were wet.

I had to sit there for a few minutes on the toilet before I realized my water broke. lol.

It honestly was the best moment of my life.

HOWEVER, because my water broke prematurely (before my body started labor) I was in labor for 43 1/2 hours, 6 of it pushing. Even though I was 3 days before my due date, my body wasnt ready.

Im sorry that everyone else who answered your question didn't read your additional details and assumed you were out to break your own water.

I had to have my water broken with my first son... and Im now 40 weeks and 3 days pregnant with my second and it will probably be the same thing.

My best friend however ate some chinese food and her water broke in the middle of the mall at 36 weeks, so anything is possible. But I dont exactly know how it happens.

Goodluck with your delivery!

I would not try it. Once the water has broke you have a time limit to deliver the baby. The longer it takes the more risk of infection it is. Let nature take is course or let the doctor to do it if he feels it is necessary. 2 of my kids the doctor had to break my water and with one of my kids my water broke on its own but I was in the hospital already in labor. Do not take this into your own hands. You are risking hurting the baby as well as yourself.

No you shouldnt try that! There is an increased risk of infection when your water breaks and you dont get looked at right away. 15% of women have their water break on their own. That means 85% of women need their waters broken for them. Just wait it out. You will be holding your little one soon enough!

I haven't tried and wouldn't recommend it. Why would you do that??? My doctor broke mine by accident 2 days before my son's due date though.

Very dangerous and not recommended. Let nature take it's course.
