Hi,,
i dont know if this is normal but when i go to the toilet for a wee it smells funny not like normal wee? does anyone have any ideas why this might. i am 10 weeks pregnant dont know if this can harm the unborn baby or not.
please help

Could be your prenatals, slight dehydration (do you drink enough water?) or hormones. Don't worry, none of those will harm the baby.
If you start to get constant lower back ache, it burns when you wee or if it gets dark/cloudy you should go to the doctor. Those are signs of UTIs. Your doctor should do a urine test every month anyway to make sure you don't have an infection...
If you don't have any symptoms accompanying the strange smell, you can wait until your next appointment and is probably nothing to worry about.

Yup, that's normal. It's probably from the prenatal vitamins that you are taking. I was surprised when I noticed that my wee smelled a little funky. The doctor said that everything will start to smell differently because of the way that your body is metabolizing things. Also, your sense of smell is usually heightened when you are pregnant, so some smells are more noticeable than before. Good luck.
