material property is not what satisfys you, it is being happy with who you are that makes you happy wether you are rich or poor.

WE all have perceived wants and needs and based on these we arrive at a level of expectations. Our satisfaction is therefore related to our expectations. With ZERO expectations,we can have satisfaction with nothing or anything, or what ever.Except on specific issues,it's well neigh impossible to develop zero expectations in a life.Even Monks, living away from civilizations and engaged in per suite of spiritual enlightenment have expectations,to achieve a level of enlightenment if nothing more.On the other hand,it's possible to develop an attitude to be satisfied with whatever one gets in life but that would not fit in to the scope of your question and may not be pertinent right now.

Not possible. Nobody has precisely nothing.

However, if you're referring to material things, the best way to become satisfied is to have that which makes all of it seem laughably irrelevant.

I'm talking about Jesus.

Once you are in the Kingdom of Heaven, everything else fades in importance--or rather, your priorities get rearranged for you. All the wealth, all the "stuff" in the world will not help you when you stand before Him on Judgment Day. All you will have is yourself and, one prays, Him.

Ultimately, that's all that counts. If you're interested in further details, you may e-mail me!

once you start working towards your dreams or desires, even if you don't achieve it, you'll be satisfied with having tried. if you want lots of money, yet are too lazy you will never be satisfied. if you tried going to college, studied alot, still didn't succeed you'll be satisfied with being a hard-worker. unless you're some greedy pig who always wants more and more. in that case you should seek therapy.

become very lazy, and use marihuana. Its all a mind set, and if you convince yourself not to buy into the rat race that is being sold here 24/7 in the US, you will probably be happier, and realize that what may seem like nothing is really all you need.

Jesus said, "To give away everything and follow Him to have peace and happiness." Many missionaries have done this and seem to be very happy when they sacrifice their lives to help others--much happier than others who strive for riches and get all tied up in one more shiny thing!!!
