I am seriously asking this because KC has been a thorn in our side this year, and they concern me. I am hoping The Tigers can build off that huge win last night and continue on their winning ways. Everyone's thoughts are welcome.

Craig, it's funny you should mention using up all that offense. Nate Robertson was pleading with his teammates to save some of those runs for him! For some unknown odd reason, when Nate pitches The Tigers dont score many runs for him.

Our bats have not been well in KC lately. Jobu is not helping anyone in a Royals uniform hit the curveball. I think tonight is KCs best chance to win any of the 3. As previously stated. the Tigers just don't give Robertson any runs and Bannister has been our best starting pitcher since late June. Unless KC gets the bats going, I only see 1 win for the Royals this series.

I'd worry about complacency or a letdown after that Yankees series, but I'd still be surprised if the Royals took 2 of 3. I think tonight's matchup will dictate the series - if the Royals can win behind Bannister, they'll have a shot at 2 of 3. If the Tigers win tonight, though, I like their odds to sweep.

I think Miller-Greinke and Bonderman-Davies heavily favor the Tigers. The Royals need to win tonight, or the Tigers might roll in that series. Hopefully the Tigers didn't use up all their offense last night!

Leyland is a master at motivating his players. The delicious 3 out of 4 series against the Yankees should have the Tigers roaring and ready to continue rolling towards the post-season. If they don't win at least 2 of 3, it would be a huge disappointment to Tiger Nation.

I'm a Twins fan and it used to be that we could count on the Royals for needed wins but this year the Royals have played us much tougher and taken wins from us! I think the Tigers should sweep the Royals but it depends on which Tigers team shows up!

No, they will take 3 of 3. Just like they did last October and kept the Tigers from winning the AL Central.

I hope so. My guess is in the end the Tigers take 2 out of 3.

KC Royals always make me nervous. We struggled last year playing them it seemed. I'm still going to bet on the Tigers and pray we kick their --- just like we did to the Yankees last night. What a game! GO TIGERS!
