What is going to happen if a wicked "Few" set fire to all the forests in the World, without showing the slightest care for the Trees , the Wild-life, the people whose properties get burnt, or who lose their lives as a result of being trapped by the flames, like thousands of birds and animals?...Let alone the effect its going to have on our already traumatised World.
What the Hell is going on?
I believe the true Heros of our times are the valiant Fire-fighters, and NOT Spiderman or Harry Potter!
Why don`t we wake up to a very real and terrible danger. It only needs one or two "Locos" to destroy what would take years to replace, if ever!
My punishment for the responsible would be sending them to live on the Moon and Mars, where there`s not a tree in sight for them to destroy. I think they would very quickly wish to return to Earth and make amends for what they have done!

However by saying they should be sent to the Moon I mean in the best conditions, with the idea of leaving them there, again in the best conditions, in order to observe the stunning beauty and uniquenesss of our World. Then whwn the truth had sunk in they would be returned in order to be able to make amends. I certainly do not support the Death Penalty.

I think the US and the rest of NATO should go and help fight the fires. (greece is in NATO)
That is what national guard is trained for, to help in emergencies. Since they are in iraq already(nearby) they could go and do something positive. If you help someone and save their house and family, they will never become a terrorist or fight against you

Make amends for over sixty dead? I'm definitely for the death penalty.
What scares me is this is a international phenom and seems well organized and planned. I think there are more than a couple of nuts here. and plenty of room on death row.

So you'd give arsonists the death penalty? Since that's what sending them to the moon or Mars (if such were possible or cost-effective.) Works for me. Arson, all too often, IS premeditated murder. And such murderers DO deserve the death penalty.

Arson specialists actually don't believe anyone started those fires, but still it is very sad. They found a woman in a car with seven children and she had her arms around them as if trying to protect them, how sad is that! My thoughts and prayers to the victims, whether it is arson or not.

Could be something to do with the long-standing enmity between Turks and Greeks.
