I want to be able to print without lugging my laptop into the other room and connecting it to the printer. I have wireless internet (I don't know if that makes a difference?) Is there anyway I can print without being connected to the printer?

There are two ways. One is to get a printer that is on the wireless network, which is the easiest to do but will involve a purchase of either one with that capability or of a wireless box that the printer can be attached to. The other way is to reconfigure another computer on your wireless network that already has a printer attached to it. Tell that computer to share its printer. Then if that computer is turned on you can reach its printer through the network with just some initial time spent on setup and no expense for hardware.

yea. you need a wirless router and you need a wireless card for your lap top. then you need to hook up your printer to the network either wirelessly or hard wired. It's takes a few hundred bucks to do this if you dont already have some of the stuff to do it with. It's worth it though. cuz after you get wireless in your home you can go around your house and use the internet on your laptop.
