My mother wanted to ask if what is the age limit in working in abroad like in australia and london....her age right now 57yrs.old...

You can retire in Australia at 55 but you don't have to. Age benefits such as health care cards are available at 60 for women and 65 for men. There is, however, no compulsory retirement age and women of 57 are working in many fields including nursing.

That being said, your mother might have some difficulties. It is illegal to discriminate on the grounds of age (or anything else) but people over 50 find it far more difficult to get a job than younger people. There is always some alleged non-discriminatory reason for not employing them.

I would write to a few hospitals in the area you are interested in and ask them about possible employment. You might find an enthusiastic reception if there is a shortage of nurses in the area.
