Both # 1 and # 2 have valid suggestions, although time shouldn't be counted so exactly.

The issue also is How UNCLEAN is the house?

I'd ask these questions of you as well, with all due respect.

Is this a general Poll?
Is this a way to know how much to charge to do this as a business?
Is this for allowance from parents?

AND then certainly in the different questions, who might be judging the level of clean you define or apply?

Without any detail at all about size...IE: a 6 or 7 room house at 2400 sq. ft. or a two story with 6000 sq. ft.,,,being exact is near impossible for us, here.

Cleaning a garage is also not possible for us to determine, and more importantly how CLEAN is clean, in a garage?

I put myself through University owning my own cleaning business; and obviously CLEAN was the keyword to keeping and getting more customers. If this is the case, in your case then you should determine your hourly worth against not only the speed/timing, but versus the quality of the job.

Any other thing that can be said might also relate to your reason for the Q, your commitment to do, etc.

Certainly cleaning is easier, and best done on a regular schedule, to avoid intense effort.

This depends on a number of variables. Is the house cleaned regularily? Are the occupants tidy? Are there a lot of surfaces that require special care? A lot of art & ornaments will slow the job down as well. An over stuffed house makes cleaning much more difficult.
If the house is "picked up" & cleaned regularily, the average 3 bd 2 ba house will take 3 hours to clean top to bottom.
The garage is another story..... lol
