I've been trying to read questions and answer on Yahoo about PCOS and everyones using terms i have no idea what they mean. I am new to PCOS and am not familiar with short names for hormones or meds etc and can't keep up with the msg of the paragraph bcos of it....can anyone giuve me common terms used during treament of pcos and and how we would refer to them in short?

i'd really appreciate your help?!

I'm sorry to hear that you've been diagnosed with PCOS hun. I have it as well. It would take far too long to list them all here but there is a really great forum for women with PCOS to ask questions to other women who have gone through the same thing. It's www.soulcysters.net

metformin, insulin stabiliser.
progesterone, hormone released after ovulation or during pregnancy, used to bring on a period - provera.
clomid, hormone treatment egg ripener.
I will have a look for some more stuff for you. BRB
HCG, human chorionic gonadotrophin, pregnancy hormone, injected to release egg to ovulate while on fertility treatment.
CM, cervical mucus.

ttc- trying to conceive
epo- evening primrose oil
bbt- basal body thermometer
cm- cervical mucus
ewcm- egg white cervical mucus
