I don't think they were big in the US .. some European Artist never made it big in the US specially new wave stuff, only a few made it to the US with one hit wonder songs.

I don't remember them, girl.
As an 80's junkie, I think I would.
However, I was in the Midwest, and information didn't come to us as much as it did to New York and LA back then.
The internet has really changed all that.
