First you should specify what size aquarium you have, but right off the bat I see you only have 3 tetra's, yet they are schooling fish and will not only do better, but will also look better if you keep them in a larger group - so try doubling their number first. IF your tank is big enough, you may also consider a group of Rasboras, like Harlequins. You can also probably add a dwarf gourami, they almost always live peacefully in a community. Ghost shrimp add a neat invertabrate perspective to the tank, and since you don't have bottom dwellers yet, corydora catfish will also fit in well.

Any kind that are tropical? You mean pirhanas will work?? Nah, probably not any kind of tropical, only small and peaceful ones.

To know if your Pleco is full size we would have to know the species name(Latin),if the guy at the pet store can't tell you that, then he doesn't know for sure about your fishes final size. There's a common myth that a fish will only grow as large as the tank he's in will allow, and while that's true it is a cruel and thoughtless process, that involves stunting the growth of the fish by not providing the space and water cleanliness that they require.
As to adding more fish perhaps you should consider a few more platies and mollies,as well as some more female guppies. These species do better in groups and don't really live well alone.
If you want more schooling type fish consider some more tetras.

This 3 hundred and sixty 5 days became uncommonly heat the place i'm. maximum original. yet besides, in case you have ever truly spent truly some time gazing fantails, you will observe that some are extra egg-formed than others. in case you wanted to function them right into a pond, i'd elect those that are the least "deformed". There additionally are wakins that should paintings properly for ponds- comet goldfish with fantails. each now and returned I see one that is obtainable in with a feeder fish shipment.

Platy, mollies and guppies are surface swimmer and you only got 5 tetra as middle swimmer, maybe you should consider either Harlequin Rasbora or add more Cardinal tetra to make it more even.

well, the other fishes are fine if i could say so...
the only problem is with the pleco...

i think it should be better if you bought otocinclus instead, these are like plecos, only smaller, and won't harm your fish.

i have a pair of pleco in my old tank, and they like to annoy the other fish by sticking themselves to their body and suck the other fish' mucus...

well anyway, you can have dwarf corydoras too if you want, they'er cute and definitely won't do harm. minnows would also make excellent community fish.

so good luck!

Hope that helps
good luck

EB

Edit*
you have a 16 us gallon tank on your hand
you could add as follows

2 more play's
2 more mollies
6 danios (they're schooling fish and come in many different colors, like a blue danio, long fin danio, zebra danio)

I wouldn't recommend another bottom dweller since you have already a pleco (which i would like to know what kind you have)

you could add live plants if you don't have any yet, like anubis for the bottom, watersprite for the surface
