I just moved into my very first apartment 3 hours from home. We are basically living in a off-campus student housing apartments. Meaning they are rented out per room and the living room and the kitchen are shared. It is a 3 bedroom 3 bath place. I get along with one of my roommates (Roommate A)as if she were a an old friend. THe other roommate(roommate B) is the one who we are having problems with. Both (me and my roommate A) had observed something that were against the lease. Like giving people keys, smoking pot in the apartment, not throwing out her trash, Etc. We reported our roommate B to the management and the roommate B basically denied everything!!!! She said that we are the ones who have overnight guests all the time and that we make the most noise and don't clean up after ourselves. Which is completely false because Both my roommate A and I are extremely clean, we have early classes so we mostly fall asleep around 11 midnight at the latest. So yesterday when the management

Confronted her about everything we had complained about she denied everything!!!! When she got home in the afternoon she basically threatened us and said that I am paying rent here and I can do whatever the **** I please. She then went off to work and when she came back last night she was even worse. She had friends over and was hanging out in the living room(which she never does) and was very loud and was banging doors which caused my roommate A and I not to sleep the entire night. We didn't want to tell the management about the pot b/c we wanted to solve the problem as easily as possible but we have proof of her smoking pot in the house b/c someone we know came and smelled it and said that "your apartment smells like pot." our witness is going to talk to the management sometime soon. Can something be done about this? How can we get her out? We are starting to have mental and health problems becuase of this. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Just like a law suit, when you make a report to a property manager about a third party, you have to have proof. He said she said simply won't work. So, if your roommate is smoking pot in the apartment, take a picture of her when she is in the act. If you can somehow get proof that she gave away keys to your apartment, that would be "Key" to getting rid of her because that is big no no. Having a slob for a roommate is not against the rules unless their mess attracts a bug infestation. In the mean time, make her life as difficult as she is making yours and find someone who would readily take her spot if she chose to leave (to ease the transition).

At the very least this experience will teach you to choose your roommates wisely in the future and teach you patience in the present.

well first off you made a hell of mess by talking to management before speaking/confronting her with these issues. now she is going to do everything in her power to make ur lives miserable bc u disreagrded speaking to her first. i suggest asking her if she would be opposed to possibly switching apartments with someone else. maybe your life styles are just too polar opposite to get along. but you need to be adults and work this out ASAP. telling management about pot smoking will get her evicted from housing and if ur the snitch i can guarentee she will send someone around to mess with u for doing that so dont bring up the pot issue. try talking to her and saying these are the issues that are brthering me can we either A. work this out and get on a schedule of M,W,F I take out trash, T,TH roommate B takeds out trash and Sat & Sun you take out trash. There everyone happy, problem solved. Or why not say we cant get along why not try switching rooms with someone down the hall and everyone is happy bc she can party and u can have ur quiet time.

What did you expect? That you would get along with everyone? So she gives people keys, smokes pot, and doesn't throw out the trash. Ok. I understand why this bothers you, but college is a lesson in life. When you finish college and start a job, there will be people in your office that you can't stand and they may even be your boss.
Next, reporting her pissed her off, so know she will go out of her way to upset you. Talk to her and come to a compromise. LIKE AN ADULT. Ask her what you can do to make her stay easier and what she can do for you. Treat her like a real person not an outcast and maybe you can come to a solution.

Do whatever you have to do, to get her butt kicked out of there. Show management whatever proof you have. She sounds totally vile and immature.

be noisy and unclean and disrupt her space. don't let her get away with it.

if she calls management - deny everything.

it can only last a bit longer - hopefully she will crack and take her skanky ways with her as she goes

having blood on your stools is in no way good and tell your pal it ought to be something very intense!! he would have something like piles that's irritation on your rectum. temm him he needs to circulate ans there are extra severe issues which i don't desire to call that it ought to be.
