Comcast internet...?

Question

I just switched to comcast from yahoo and yahoo was way faster! If anyone out there has comcast is it slow??? Cuz Mine is Let me know

Although i don't use comcast, I have heard of other people's issues with their internet service. In some cases people were paying for a 5 m connection, but were only getting 3 or less speeds. I would recommend you test your speed and see exactly what your download an uploading speeds really are. The link below is a test site that will give you your inter downloading and uploading speeds. If the figures to come close to what you are paying for with comcast, then I would complain to them to diagnose and fix your issue... if they can't then you can request an upgraded service at no additional fee. The only time I get annoyed with comcast is signing in. Sometimes it takes so long to load I start a card game! But otherwise, I notice no big difference between this and works' DSL system.

The Comcast homepage has always been slow compared to Yahoo in my opinion. I've never left either of them as my homepage though. I either use Google or a local HTML file of my common URL links (rather than a bookmark...works much nicer when you have multiple computers and don't want to worry about syncing up bookmarks between them).

Mine isn't. I am using WiFi with my PC from my router, with a Low connection (2 of 5 available bars) and I get my pages in an average 0.110s (thats how long it takes for the page to START loading, but it takes about 3 seconds to load up Yahoo homepage, and about 5 to load up CNN.com.
