I remember watching the canadians show on tv during the late 70s early 80s but no one elseems to remember this funny funny guy. How do we get re runs of this show and what ever happened to him any one know

I used to love "The Kelly Monteith Show", it looks like he's still doing the occasional acting job...

Yes, I remember him. I'm a big comedy fan & he was one of the funniest. I think he faded from sight when comedy changed its tone & took on a much harder, sometimes unpleasant, sometimes hostile, edge. I'm a fan of Sam Kinison too, but the comedy world that grew up around him pushed guys like Kelly out, I think. There are comics working today whose success I find inexplicable - like Dane Cook. Kelly Montieth was a very funny guy who seemed like a nice guy too. I hope that new movie he's in brings him back.
