-The obvious choice, I guess, would be Sting. Flair has always said his favorite wrestler to work with was Sting.
-My dream match would be against Arn Anderson. What a way to go out! If they put Arn in the HOF along with Ric, it makes the match even better.
-Picking from the current roster, I'd go with HHH for obvious reasons.

I loved Sting vs. Flair matches since the circa 80's, but I don't think it's going happen in 2007 and beyond. Sting had hundreds of chances to join the WWE, but he refused each and every time Vince and his people asked him. Whatever his reasons for declining are his own. Some say that if he joined the WWE, he would be over-shadowed by new talent and be made to lose lots of matches to them. (Vince is a strong believer in having the show focus on new and current wrestlers. Plus having them topple legends like Hulk Hogan, Flair or Rowdy Piper) I praise Sting for being smart not to join the WWE. You think if I were Sting, that I'd allow Vince to smear my legend status by letting some new young punk beat me in a wrestling match?! HELL, NO!!

To me you have 5 options.
- Sting, because it would be a classic
- Hogan, so Hogan would finally have to JOB!
- HHH, because the 2 best heels ever go at it
- Taker, Even though this has happened, it could go to a nocontest, Taker keeps streak, Flair goes out without a loss
- Orton, just because Flair/Ortons cage match was phenomenal, id pay to see this again, this time with Orton as the heel
Sting would be good

I'd do my best to get Kevin Von Erich out of retirement for one last match against Ric Flair ... his opponent should be someone who represent tradition and not the "here today, gone tomorrow" type wrestlers we see today ...
The "King" Jerry Lawler wouldn't be a bad choice is they could have an old school match without any gimmicks, maybe a "retirement match" would go far.

STING. It 99.9% will never happen, though. Mr. Borden doesn't care for Mr. McMahon. That being said, I would buy the hell outta that wrestlemania! Flair v. Sting on the last Nitro wasn't that great a match, but it got over purely on emotion. I got a little teary eyed thinking about it just now.

The American Dream Dusty Rhodes. Flair and Rhodes have had several classic battles over the years. This could be a farewell match for both legends.

I could agree with you man.
I like to see Sting and Ric Flair duke it out one last time.
But I think I want to see him face some old legend, maybe... Jimmy Snuka? Or maybe Hulk Hogan would be fit!

Sting is the obvious choice but theres no way he will do it. Hogan coming back would be more likely then Sting signing for WWE. i would say Undertaker would be best bet.
