I love all of the David Sedaris and Augusten Burroughs books that I, like you, have been fortunate enough to read. I also care deeply for Quick Shots of False Hope: A Rejection Collection by Laura Kightlinger. And I love the Story of the Eye by George Bataille. And I have been known to fancy a Details or a Parents or a Wonder Time from time to time.

My favorite book is *The Outsiders* by S.E. Hinton.

Waaay back, when I was in fifth grade, (I'm 38 now) we had to read this book and do a book report. It was just a well-written, story as old as time itself - book.....

Also, from this book - I discovered Robert Frost as a poet - my favorite work of his, is from the book...

Nothing gold can stay..

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

-- Robert Frost
