I dont understand about not knowing when period is due?!?

Can someone help?
Just come off pill....but cant you just work your due date as if you are on the pill still....3week on and 7 days off???
Or doesnt it work like that anymore?
I was on Microgynon 30 - had my period last month and then didnt take anymore and havent had a bleed half way through.

Whatever you cycle is, it will be irregular now that you're off the pill. The pill has synthetic hormones which forces your body to adhere to a cycle of three weeks off one week on. Most women's bodies do NOT produce such hormones and have such cycles. Your body has not had to produce much of those hormones because the pill replaced that production need, because of that it takes time for it to start regular and proper production again.

It will take around 3 months or better for you cycle to regulate. However, in that time you will still be ovulating and can get pregnant. If you're TTC go ahead and test when you reach what would have been your placebo week, if its negative, wait a week and test again to be sure.
