Do you mean the "Baby Think Again" Dolls? They are set up to reproduce the actual care time it takes to look after a newborn baby, and they do work on some young people. They work better when they are used for a week not just overnight/weekend.
They show them that the "romantic" image of having a baby disguises the real hard work - the sleepless nights, the 24 hour care, the time it takes to care for the little one including feeding, nursing, comforting, etc., the having to make arrangements for two, rather than the one, and carrying all the extras that a little one needs.
I don't know if you can buy them, but I know schools in our district do have them, so maybe ask there.

***To Amy K - as a mother of four, I can tell you that that IS the real deal.

I remember when my daughter brought 1 of them home from school and had to take care of it for a week. If that thing cried to many times she would get a mark against her 1 night she wanted me to take care of it for her while she went out with friends and I dropped it and it started crying and I had to use a key to shut it up and she did get a mrk for that 1. Kinda funny.

They remind me of military sign up bonuses. A few folks are falling for it, but most people know that the real deal, is nothing like whats being pushed.

I hate those sooo much! We had to take them for a week to pass our child phyc. final...It wouldnt stop crying!!! And after you bring them in to the teacher she hooks it up to the computer and it tells if I fed it on time or changed it diaper or if its neck ever went to far back!!! It drove me crazy....so yes I guess they do work=)

I don't think they're working. They cry too much and are too demanding
