Actually, the copyright application was knocked back because the copyright Office didn't understand what he was on about. Spelling hadn't been invented then (and it still hasn't caught on here, either, if you hadn't noticed).
But yes, I agree, there probably are an infinite number of universes, and I challenge anyone to count them and prove that you're wrong.

We can't know that for a fact, as many other things in astrophysics -and theoretical physics in general- that's more a matter of faith than fact!
Taking god out of the equation (to avoid religious issues) we have got a very interesting problem here; however the theory of multiple Universes does not exclude the possibility for many universes to be identical but opposed or even just identical and supper imposed through the space-time.
However I do not think that it's to known this for sure because it will be impossible from one universe seeing the other, and then there is no possible answer.
You can believe whatever you want, that is, as I said a matter of faith, you believe it or you don't.
The idea it's interesting but there is no answer for it.

Some places where you can read about it:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiverse

Any way there is no proof for either one or the other.

It is true; there are an infinite number of universes and God made them all!

He applied for a copy write - but while the file was being processed, someone else filed for a similar copy write...

The other entity claims that since his universe had to have been started prior to God's filing, it would patently unfair to award a copy write to God - because the idea was not really original.

They are in mediation now, but I doubt it settles. Satan has also joined, (Claiming he thought of the whole idea and has actually developed a system for franchising universes).

Most legal analysts actually think satin will win if it goes to litigation - because he has all the best lawyers!

I'm not exactly sure about "copyright", however God did create all those infinite universes.

There are an infinite number of, interleaved, identical universes; all held together with crazy glue.

God has been sued by microsoft.

With the report of this huge area of space that has few to no stars yep it may be true--awesome isn't it. I have always thought we were conceited to think God made us the greatest of His creations. He very well may have creatures existing parallel to us who are so much more advanced.

One can only answer this question with an open mind and betrayal of God. God is one, therefore only one universe!

God doesn't need to copyright; He owns everything.
