Hello Raphael. Do you still need a hug? Here's a BIG HUG for you!

You are not an idiot. You posted a question in the Senior Citizen section of Yahoo Answers and got some fairly rude answers because they thought you were in the "wrong" section. Many people on YA seem to think certain sections belong to them and anyone else is labeled a troll or gets nasty answers. I've had that happen to me too when I accidentally put a question in the Lesbian, Gay and Trans-gender section. They were SO quick to run me out!!! I had thought that Society & Culture was one broad category.

P.S. A teeny bopper is a teenager. Not really a slam but not a compliment.

That stinks that they have to be such jerks. A teeny bopper is a dumb teenager that mainly focuses their energy on the latest trends, pop music, and other mindless bs.
I personally think that because this is a faceless forum, where people never come in contact with each other. They feel like they can say whatever they want, without being tactful, just because we will never meet in person. That's a very cowardous and disrespectful thing to do, not only to someone else but to yourself. No decent human being would behave in such a manner, which is why I just think of those naysayers as garbage, and toilets. All they can do is talk crap, and that's all they're worth. I'm just glad they can't get paid for it.
BOOOO!!!! to all you haters! and
YAAYYY!!!! to all you participators

sometimes you need to take a look at how you present the question. a " teeny - bopper " is a young person which some also refer to as a " young whippersnapper. "

the older you get the more you will develop a thicker skin. just don't worry to much, all a part of growing up.

If you're looking for a serious answer, we aren't mean, we're just kind of set in our ways, and you're like a Jack Russell terrier, bouncing and bounding and hard to keep up with.

You seem to have a good sense of humor, and teeny bopper is someone from the generation of the '50s and '60s, what you might now call a groupie.

I enjoyed your squidward ditty, but it ended just in time.

Did you ever see a puppy come bouncing into and all over pack of grown up mature dogs? Get too rambunctious and they are going to get their butt nipped by a few. Now if you approach with respect thats a whole different game. Settle down pup

You may live to be 200 and times you still feel like an idiot, you cant possibly know everything and if you did, you would be boring.

Maybe folks with teenie weenies have to beat up on (even on posting boards) teeny boppers to get their kicks.
Don't take it too much to heart. But do realize, oh young one, some people just ARE mean. Don't waste your day trying to figure them out. The only butt that's showing is theirs. :O)

teeny bopper=extremely young person usually in teens or early 20's (immature)
Being straightforward with an answer and to the point is not being mean. Expressing your opinion is not mean. Sarcasism is not always mean. It can be witty, funny and a down right hoot.

Don't feel like an idiot. Some times if people don't have an answer its easier for them to attack,
"teeny bopper" is just a nick name for a teenager, nothing bad.

Are you a senior citizen? No
Did your question relate in any way to senior citizens? No

When you decide to ask a question, if you put it in a relevant section you might just get a better response.

The language people use also might be more familiar to you if you post in the right section. I would guess that most senior citizens know what a teeny bopper is.
