Sorry, but poster #1 has not got it correctly. . .good try though.Alliteration is when two or three words begin with the same letter (usually in poetry)

For example

The river roamed the region
With whimpers and whispers. . .

See the Ws and the Rs?? They are the alliteration.

Bisyllabic = 2 syllables

The multitude of multipliers at the math fair
Made a mockery of the rockery in the garden

(Daft meaning I am afraid . . it is 7:30 in the morning after all!!), but see those multi repeats? And the 'ockery' repeats. THEY are your bisyllabic alliterations.

You know what the words mean, so you may need examples:
(after my EDIT, I study and think and still think the following examples are good.)

"A-frames added to the housing development will look bad."
(A-frames and added are both "bisyllabic" and are "alliteration.") ...the "a"s match to make alliteration in 2 words, and they are each 2 syllables for bisyllabic.

"I rarely recall my more mischievous days."
(rarely and recall are both "bisyllabic" and "alliteration.") ...the "r"s match to make alliteration in 2 words, and they each have 2 syllables for bisyllabic.

The first word in the 'alliteration' (a's, then r's) is two syllables long, the second one is too...so they're both 'bisyllabic,' as is called for in the phrase you give for homework, or for plain old knowledge. Helpful? I'm doing my very best here, dear.

SIMPLE TERMS:
**A bisyllabic alliteration calls for a couple (or more) two-syllable words to be strung together by alliteration, by the same sound at the beginning of each word.**

English ever get you down? (the "e"s in this one) ;-}
