I have a course in Algebra and basically recalling stuff from years back. I'm having difficulty with 2 problems and hope somebody could answer and explain them to me. Thanks sooo much. 2 Problems:

1.) (2x)^4 x^3 (the numbers with ^ in front are exponents fyi because it looks a little weird)

Simplify the expression and eliminate any negative exponents.
2.) (4u^2v^5)^2(3u^2v)^-2

16 (x^4) (x ³)
16 x^7

Question 2
16 (u^4) (v^10) / [ 9 (u^4) (v ²) ]
(16 / 9) v^8

1) (2x)^4 x^3 = 2^4x^4x^3 = 2^4x^7 = 16x^7
2) (4u^2v^5)^2(3u^2v)^-2 = 16u^4v10 3^-2 u^-4v^-2 = 16/9 v^8

2. (16y^8)/9

If I remember right PEMDAS or solve Parentheses, then Exponents, then Multiplication, Division, Adding, Subtracting

How you deal with exponents is the following, if its x^a * x^b then this is the same as x^(a+b) in your frist example it 16x^( a+b ), similar for the next one

16x^7

(16u^4v^10)/(3u^2v)^2

(16u^4v^10)/(9u^4v^2)

(16v^8)/(9)

Not sure about your groupings.
