THE MOON WENT BRIGHT RED!!!!
I took a couple of bad pictures, but yeah IT WAS AWSOME!!!
You should get some good pictures on the internet by now.
Some people call it a blood moon, I can't remember if it was solar or lunar.

I saw it Mistress - in fact it is still about 80% in effect and it's evening here 21:15.
It was a dull orange colour and looked particularly 3 D - i felt I could see the moon as a sphere not the customary disc.
But the biggest buzz was having people on YA from all over the world speak about it.
Brought home to me again the realisation that the world is one - and humankind is one - very cosmic!!

We had mostly cloudy skies here but I was able to catch a few glimpses of it thru the clouds. At times there was a red blur visable. The web site was so busy I could not get on. I understand the next one will be in February. No leaves on the trees will be helpful for some of us. Clear winter skies will help a lot,too.

IT WAS GREAT!! A really beautiful and cool event. Im an avid sky watcher, and try not to miss events like this. I also watched the meteor showers, and saw a blood moon just before the 4th of July. Lots of great things to see this summer!

Watched it on tv because it was too hard to see from the clouds and the street lights.

Oh, I just *loved* how the darkest little clouds decided to swim past the moon blocking my view! But overall, yeah. I saw it and hm...it was grey and reddish.

Just on T.V., after the fact. The moon last night was enormous and orange.

It happened an hour ago! when it did happen it was so dark, then again it was night.

Yes, It was beautiful but it was a little overcast but at least i saw the shadows of it :)

its still happening in brisbane australia 9.15 pm
& its nice with a red orange hue over most of it
