Is sex ed in school effective?

what do you think? are schools teaching effectively? or are they shoving do's and don'ts into teen's faces....honest and serious opinions please! thanks

Curriculum should be one of interaction and having students discuss issues in a serious fashion....too often it's the do nots in lecture style, almost as if teens are too ignorant to have opinions.

no, not really. when i was taught sex ed, my teachers acted as though sex was very dangerous and could only be approached with 20-foot pole. either that, or horrible videos were shoved into our face.
