ICL can make a big dent from the monopoly of BCCI, but that
is politics and finance. Related to cricket is concerned, if they
can run this league successfully, there is very good chance of
building good Indian cricket team both in 20/20 and 50/50.
Youngsters get the exposure, when they have very little
chance to play against the foreigners and I also think ICL
need to play in different countries so cricketers get used to
playing in different conditions. To start with, they will have
hurdles, but we have to wait and see how well the administration does its job.
These days, cricket is monopolized by Aussies and all other
teams are way behind. Mix and match the players can bring
laurels to the game and also to the fan. Making it a short
version of 20/20, it brings thrills. On the flip side of it, this
may cause backfire to the test cricket, and bowlers will have
a hard time as they will be hammered to all parts of the ground.

Well I don't think it will make a difference for BCCI Team.

If the show continues for a lengthy duration, though there could be hurdles placed by BCCI, they have a good chance a having a Sizebale viewership, which will make BCCI to revamp themselves, which will benefit Indian Cricket.

The way they are planning to organise matches, I do not think it will not help Indian Cricket as they are contracting retired players, players from other countries etc. If they contract the talented youngsters from within the country and groom them up, it can help Indian Cricket.
