Depends on your age, coloring, skin type, and what is meant by "well-groomed". In general, a small amount of lip, cheek, and eye color can highlight your features without giving you the look of a Clown College graduate. Keeping your skin clean, moisturized, and protected from the sun are necessities. You might consider scheduling a make-up consultation at a beauty or department store. There are a host of magazines and web sites that offer make-up tips. Choose shades that will compliment your natural coloring and features rather than disguise them.

People who worry about details are not all that happy. If they get more loving they mess your hair up, most guys do. There is so much info out there now, have you looked into Emotional Intelligence. We're really driven by emotions and 'reason' is rationalizations for something else going on. If you consider that science is saying most are three years old emotionally, for better or for worse, I guess you can see where a tremendous upgrade is needed and it's pretty easy, although life just about requres a lifetime of study and thought for maximum results. All the latest reseach is on the net. And it can be taught without a word to spouses. Wouldn't a more intuitive one be nice? Go within, or go without. No pain, no gain.

Go to any Ulta or Sephora store, and tell the person their that you are getting married, and they will help you with perfect makeup for your wedding day. Ask about Smashbox Photofinish-something you use with your foundation.
If you can afford it, like I did, have a professional do your makeup on your wedding day. I knew I would be too nervous to do mine, so I had someone else do it, and I looked better than I ever have in my life.

read the proper care and feeding of husbands by laura schlessinger.it will give your whole marriage a make up,from spending time together, understanding your husband and why he does things that you find unusual...to making yourself look nice for your husband.
(its not about always looking nice,if you are a mum running round all day,it suggests that you dont do yourself up till 10 minutes before your husband walks in the door).
